I was asked by Channel 4 News to create a graphic about the issues the next UK government will face with climate change and the environment, a subject which has barely been debated in the campaign. It was a quick turnaround, so in the spirit of recycling, you may have seen some of these elements before! Reporter Alex Thomson, produced by Louise Turner and Rachel Seifert. Two day project.

Post Office history explainer edit

I was asked to make two short films explaining the history of the British Post Office, and the role of Subpostmasters. They’re to be used as explainers during a theatre presentation by Nick Wallis. Nick is the very talented journalist who broke the story of the recent Subpostmaster scandal. Here’s a spliced edit of the films I made, which I’m proud of considering I did them in two days.

“Vanished” documentary branding

I was asked to brand a documentary programme for ITN Productions at extremely short notice last week. I had to create a set of titles, break bumpers, promotional slates, timeline explainer graphics, automated name supers, and dress a set with imagery all within two and a half days. Sometimes these quick commissions can be fun, but given the subject matter, this one was tough. The programme was broadcast on Channel 5 on 10th February 2023. Here’s a couple of examples of what I did, which given the time constraints, I was pleased with.
